Weekend Getaway: Harrisburg, PA

S and I finally got to see each other after three weeks. We explored the capital of Harrisburg this weekend. We had so much fun walking around the city and just snapping pictures until we had to go to dinner for a friend’s 30th birthday. The city is small and not many places open until late afternoon which was surprising to us. Most restaurants opened at 4pm. The city isn’t like typical cities. Not many people live in the actual city of Harrisburg, they usually commute to work during the week which explains why restaurants open later on the weekend. The nightlife in the city is the complete opposite of what we experienced during the day. All the bars are open and people are all over the city.  It’s a small city but a fun one. Definitely a good place to explore if you’re looking for an adventure for a day/evening.
